El Racó del Pou

Restaurant in a 19th-century house in Calders, on the road from Moià to Manresa, featuring homemade, traditional, market-fresh Catalan cuisine and grilled meats. They open at 9 a.m.: fork breakfasts, daily menu, à la carte, toasts, and pizzas. From the house • Mother's cannelloni, escudella (traditional stew), snails "a la llauna" (baked) and in a casserole. • Veal cheeks with porcini mushroom sauce, duck with pears, and breaded kid goat. • For dessert, homemade crema catalana, mel i mató (honey and fresh cheese), and cheesecake.
